Description

Indications

For the relief of symptoms associated with the common cold, flu, and other upper respiratory tract infections, including:

• Clogged nose and post-nasal drip (nasal congestion)

• Runny nose and sneezing

• Itchy or watery eyes

• Headache and body aches

• Fever reduction

Dosage and Administration

• Adults and Children 12 years and over: Take 1 tablet every 6 hours as needed.

• Maximum Daily Dose: Do not exceed 4 tablets in any 24-hour period unless directed by a physician.

• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. It may be taken with or without food. If a dose is missed, take the next dose only if needed at the regular interval; do not double the dose.

Adverse Reactions

• Central Nervous System: Drowsiness, sleepiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. Occasionally, restlessness or insomnia (due to phenylephrine).

• Gastrointestinal: Nausea, stomach upset, or dry mouth/throat.

• Cardiovascular: Increased heart rate (tachycardia) or slight increase in blood pressure.

• Other: Muscle weakness or mild skin rashes.

Important Safety Precautions

• Drowsiness Warning: This product contains Chlorphenamine Maleate, which may cause significant drowsiness. Avoid driving, operating heavy machinery, or performing tasks that require mental alertness while taking this medication.

• Alcohol Restriction: Do not consume alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can increase the sedative effects and raise the risk of liver damage from paracetamol.

• Paracetamol Safety: Avoid taking this alongside other medicines containing paracetamol (such as some cough and cold syrups or pain relievers) to prevent accidental overdose and potential liver toxicity.

• Pre-existing Conditions: Consult a doctor before use if you have high blood pressure (hypertension), heart disease, glaucoma, thyroid problems, diabetes, or enlarged prostate.

• Pregnancy/Nursing: Consult a healthcare professional before use to determine if the benefits outweigh the potential risks to the fetus or infant.
