Description

Indications

Used primarily as an appetite stimulant for individuals with a poor appetite or nutritional deficiencies. It is indicated for:

• Weight gain assistance in underweight individuals.
• Nutritional support during recovery from illness, surgery, or physical exhaustion.
• Management of vitamin deficiencies (Vitamin B-complex and C).
• Metabolic support to improve energy levels and overall vitality.

Dosage and Administration

• 2-6 years old: 5 mL (1 teaspoonful) daily
• 7-14 years old: 10 mL (2 teaspoonfuls) daily
• Above 14 years old: 15 mL (1 tablespoonful) daily
• Administration: It is generally recommended to take this  30 minutes before a meal to effectively stimulate the appetite.
• Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered; however, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue with the regular schedule.

Adverse Reactions

• Central Nervous System: Drowsiness and sleepiness are the most common side effects (due to Buclizine). Some may experience dizziness, headache, or blurred vision.
• Gastrointestinal: Dry mouth, nausea, or mild stomach discomfort.
• Other: Rarely, some individuals may experience a paradoxical reaction such as restlessness or insomnia.

Important Safety Precautions

• Drowsiness Warning: Buclizine is an antihistamine that can cause significant sedation. Avoid driving, operating heavy machinery, or engaging in activities requiring high mental alertness until you know how the medication affects you.
• Alcohol Interaction: Do not consume alcohol while taking this supplement, as it will significantly increase the sedative (drowsy) effects of the Buclizine.
• Pre-existing Conditions: Consult a doctor before use if you have glaucoma, enlarged prostate (prostatic hypertrophy), or urinary retention, as antihistamines can worsen these conditions.
• Pregnancy and Nursing: Buclizine should be used with caution. Consult a healthcare professional before starting this supplement if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Vitamin Overload: Avoid taking other high-dose multivitamin supplements simultaneously unless directed by a professional to prevent vitamin toxicity.
