-
Gastrointestinal: Very rare instances of nausea or stomach upset.
-
Serious Reactions (Extremely Rare): Severe skin reactions (such as Stevens-Johnson Syndrome) or liver toxicity (usually only in cases of significant overdose).
Important Safety Precautions
-
Avoid Duplication: Do not take Biogesic with other medications containing paracetamol (such as “all-in-one” cold and flu remedies). This is the most common cause of accidental overdose.
-
Liver Warning: Severe liver damage may occur if you exceed the maximum daily dose, take it with other paracetamol-containing drugs, or consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks daily while using this product.
-
Kidney/Liver Health: If you have pre-existing liver or kidney disease, consult a healthcare professional before use to determine the appropriate dosage.
-
Pregnancy and Nursing: Biogesic is generally considered the preferred pain reliever for pregnant and breastfeeding women, but it should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest time necessary.
-
Persistent Symptoms: If pain lasts more than 10 days or fever persists for more than 3 days, discontinue use and consult a physician.
